  • Ensemble Lemniscate is a group of international soloists deeply engaged with the music of our time. Since its foundation in 2012, the Basel-based Ensemble has kept its ears and eyes close to the present and has developed a strong dialogue with the young new music scene. They believe that the music created today and the way in which it is presented cannot be detached from contemporary life. With the philosophy of realising bold, challenging projects the ensemble aims to broaden the appreciation of contemporary music both in Switzerland and abroad.

  • KlangLab works in the field of new and experimental music developed in close exchange with composers. These collaborations often lead to installation moments or site-specific productions. The name KlangLab refers to the development and rehearsal processes that precede individual compositions and performances. The musical material delivered by the composer is explored and modified by the musicians during the joint working phase until a common idea emerges between the ensemble members and the composer.
